Croft Farm 2026
Monday 18th May 2026
We stopped at Oxford services for our lunch and are back on the coach excited to get to Croft Farm. We have been singing and talking with our friends and even playing "I spy" with the coach driver. Hoping for the rain to hold off for our first activity.

We have arrived safely and have jumped straight into our first activities: archery tag, katakanuing and stand up paddle boarding. We are hoping the rain stops very soon!
We have had dinner and some free time this evening and are now enjoying the campfire for the evening. We are looking forward to having some yummy roasted marshmallows.

Tuesday 19th May
We slept well and have had a great morning here, even in the rain! The children have been sailing, katakanuing, abseiling, axe throwing and doing some archery.

We all had fun this evening playing Egg Protector.

Wednesday 20th May
We all slept well last night and are ready for a fun day of activities. 2 groups are on the water doing windsurfing and sailing.

The other two groups are enjoying archery tag, axe throwing, archery and orienteering.

En garde! Enjoying ourselves learning to fence this afternoon.

Some more afternoon activities: climbing, sailing and wing surfing.

We received our letters from home at lunch time; the children loved hearing from their loved ones.

Thursday 21st May
The children slept well again last night. We have had two groups on the water again doing windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. The other two groups have been enjoying activities on land: axe throwing, fencing and initiative exercises.

A lovely day on the lake enjoying the sun.

We have been to the tuck shop and enjoyed some ice cream, drinks and treat.
Time to figure out who killed Billy Banana in Cluedo this evening; Mr Giles has enjoyed this activity as much as the children.

Completing some team challenges to get clues in Cluedo. Which team will guess the suspect, weapon and location correctly?

Friday 22nd May
We are up and ready for our final activities today.
Enjoying our breakfast on the water front.

We had fun kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and axe throwing this morning.

We have said thank you and goodbye to the wonderful instructors that have made our week so special.

1:00pm We have left the center. We all had an amazing week but are ready to see our loved ones at home.

Once we have stopped at Oxford services, I will update this page with an ETA.
We have just left Oxford services. (3:55pm). Our current ETA is 6:00pm arrival at school.
I will update this again, if it changes based on the traffic.
The children have all had some water and their snack bags at the services as well as some fresh air and a chance to stretch their legs.

5pm update: Our ETA is still 6pm, but we are stuck in some traffic on the M25 about 20 miles away from school.
I think the children are looking forward to being home!
